All clients are currently being seen through teletherapy
(phone or videoconferencing).

Who We Are:

We are licensed (PhD) clinical psychologists, experts in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and have worked as professors at a number of universities.

Our skills as therapists developed over more than 20 years of teaching psychotherapy, publishing scientific papers, training doctoral students, giving conference presentations internationally, and conducting workshops for other mental health professionals.

We are devoted to life-long learning in order to provide the best care possible. We frequently attend professional conferences and workshops, serve as officers in professional organizations, and actively collaborate with colleagues regarding challenging clinical problems.

Please see more about us here.

Our Approach:

The Center focuses on CBT, a problem-focused and evidence-based psychotherapy.

In CBT, your therapist will help you clarify your goals for therapy and collaboratively set an agenda for each therapy session. These features help to ensure steady progress toward your goals.

A strong therapeutic alliance is essential, as the therapist and client work on improving skills, solving problems, and building a more satisfying life. Many CBT techniques elicit strong emotions, making a trusting relationship an essential part of the therapy.

Finally, between-session challenges are an important part CBT. These tasks facilitate the transfer of the work in therapy to your day-to-day life.

Over more than two decades, we have acquired highly specialized training in CBT-related procedures and approaches.

We have received specialized training in exposure therapy, schema therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, Maudsley Family-Based Treatment for adolescent eating disorders, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy.

Please see a more thorough explanation of our approach here.
